Ultra Werewolf
-When "Werewolf" is paired with "Blood Moon", the ATK & HP of "Werewolf" is doubled.
A total lunar eclipse is sometimes called a Blood Moon because the full moon has a reddish color when fully eclipsed. According to folklore, a Blood Moon is the second most dangerous moon behind a Wolf Moon (the first full moon of January). It causes werewolves to become more aggressive, gain more strength, and adventure into heavily populated areas. When timing a bite right, a human will transform within an hour. Many deaths will occur for both people and animals; the ones that survived an attack will most likely be cursed turning into a werewolf.
Tian Gou Eat Moon
-When "Tian Gou" is paired with "Moon", "Moon" is sacrificed. "Tian Gou" gains a shield for 1 turn.
As a bad spirit, it is a black dog that eats the moon. According to the legends, as an interpretation of a lunar eclipse, after Houyi shot down the 9 suns in the sky, he was awarded with a pill that is said to make you immortal by Queen Mother of the west, Wangmu Niang Niang. Before he could eat it, his wife Chang Er ate it, hoping she could maintain her youth. Chang Er felt her body getting lighter and flew away. Seeing this, a black dog that Hou Yi was rearing went inside her room and licked the remains of the pill. He then chased after Chang Er, getting bigger and bigger. Chang Er, terrified, hid on the moon. The black dog ate the moon, along with Chang Er. After knowing this, Wangmu Niang Niang captured the dog. She was surprised to see that the dog was actually Hou Yi's. She assigned him to guard the gates of heavens, becoming Tiangou. The moon and Chang Er was spit back out, and Chang Er continued living on the moon.
Lunar Eclipse
-When arranged "Sun", "Earth", "Moon", Lunar Eclipse is triggered. Provides a shield for all cards on the field that tank 2 attacks.
A lunar eclipse is an astronomical event that occurs when the Moon moves into the Earth's shadow, causing the Moon to be darkened. Such alignment occurs during an eclipse season, approximately every six months, during the full moon phase, when the Moon's orbital plane is closest to the plane of the Earth's orbit. This can occur only when the Sun, Earth, and Moon are exactly or very closely aligned with Earth between the other two, which can happen only on the night of a full moon when the Moon is near either lunar node. The type and length of a lunar eclipse depend on the Moon's proximity to the lunar node. When the Moon is totally eclipsed by the Earth, it takes on a reddish color that is caused by the planet when it completely blocks direct sunlight from reaching the Moon's surface, as only the light reflected from the lunar surface has been refracted by the Earth's atmosphere. This light appears reddish due to the Rayleigh scattering of blue light, the same reason sunrises and sunsets are more orange than during the day.
Solar Eclipse
-When arranged "Sun", "Moon", "Earth", Solar Eclipse is triggered. Banishes 2 cards of choice on the field.
A solar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes between Earth and the Sun, thereby obscuring the view of the Sun from a small part of the Earth, totally or partially. Such an alignment occurs approximately every six months, during the eclipse season in its new moon phase, when the Moon's orbital plane is closest to the plane of the Earth's orbit. In a total eclipse, the disk of the Sun is fully obscured by the Moon. In partial and annular eclipses, only part of the Sun is obscured. Unlike a lunar eclipse, which may be viewed from anywhere on the night side of Earth, a solar eclipse can only be viewed from a relatively small area of the world. As such, although total solar eclipses occur somewhere on Earth every 18 months on average, they recur at any given place only once every 360 to 410 years.
